i have mixed opinion about this topic, because people can’t live off $7.95 income the only type of people who can live off of this would be people who still live with thier parents or at home. theses are the people that can’t go to college and would like to or trying to make a living to feed thier families. my other opinion is that i can see that the business owners and managers doesn’t want to pay thier workers higher than they have want too. but if people got paid a decent amount of money and is able to make a better living then now there will be less homeless, everyone would have less debet. but i feel like also if they raise minimun wage the business might end up threating the companys that we work for and end up closing or threating for closing, but if we do have a higher minimun wage then wouldn’t they be making more money??

I agree. I think this is really a no win situation, because as minimum wage goes up, so do the price of goods. I have seen this first hand working at KFC. When I started there, in 2011, minimum wage was $7.40 an hour. As minimum wage went up for 2012, I found myself up on a ladder raising all the prices on our menu. I found myself in the same position for 2013, raising all the prices.
I agree with your feelings about this. But if we do rise the wage then everything else will go up.So that makes you think how much more stuff will go up.
I don’t think it should raise it every year maybe every two years but I still don’t know if it would help out the economy because everything would just go up in price.
Raising minimum wage may sound like an awesome thing for some but its not awesome on the other hand. Not only does the minimum wage goes up but so does everything else that we pay for, the things that we NEED. Don’t get me wrong, increase of money in my pocket is good but it will be gone in no time due to the increase of prices.
